It has been a whirlwind of a weekend! Emily and I talked all night after the Gala – we were so high! As you now may realise my submission to the Magic of Mohair Competition was 1st runner up! This means that the garments that I created will be featured in a future Vogue Knitting issue. Over the next few days I’ll be going through all of my pictures and sharing them with you, but for now I’ll share the original pictures.
Below is the the my submission to Vogue Knitting – I am now allowed to share!! Amanda is the model for me and isn’t she gorgeous!
Magic of Mohair – Vogue Design Competition
Victorian Falls Wrap and Sheath
This modern twin-set has been knit with undyed yarns and then hand-painted. The yarns are from Handmaiden and Fleece Artist. The yarns used are available in hand-dyed semi-solids and variegated. Combining a semi-solid yarn for the body of each piece and a variegated yarn for the edging would also produce a beautiful garment.

Happy Knitting
