The final summer workshop ran last thursday. And it was a cross between finger painting for adults and “Oh my god” – look at what she is doing.
The weather was cool enough for us to hand-paint (with dyes) our swatches and projects out in the courtyard. We occasionally had interested observers and many comments and questions about what was happening!
We all approached our swatches and projects differently – it was amazing! Gail was an abstract artist and Lynsie and Joyce loved colour and had a great time combining the dyes to see the results.
Eileen was someone special. She knew how to paint! We all learned from her. Again a class where I learned as much as I taught!
Happy Knitting and watch for more stories and pictures from the painting class!
