It is wonderful that so many of our customers come in to show and tell their knitting. And with Christmas not too far away we are seeing quite a few different projects.
One of my favorites so far is a mitten and hat set that Liz shared yesterday. The hat is a pattern from Nova Scotia – out of her stash and is too cute. But the Mittens are stunning. The mitten pattern is a free one on Ravelry – http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tokitae.
Eileen has knit up a bevy of gorgeous kids hats for her friends grand-children – they are so much fun knit up in the striping yarns.
The Chihuly Chevron Glove class is finished. Check out the bouquet of gorgeous cuffs.
The classes this fall have been slow to fill. We have had to postpone or even cancel a couple. To avoid disappointment if you have been thinking about taking a class, remember to sign up!
On that note – the Thrummed mitten class has been pushed back to Nov 23. I hope that will allow a few more students to join in the fun.
The Saracen Shawl is the next Workshop, it will be running Saturday Nov 2. There are still a few spots left!
How is your Christmas Knitting coming along? Do you knit for Christmas? I try to knit a little something for someone different every year. Not sure for whom this year – I am procrastinating like normal!
Happy Knitting
Lynette
PS – I am still working on my Vitelottes. I have turned them into full mitten and the first one is done! Are you still working on one of the KAL’s?
