Mark Saturday, Aug 27th on your calendars. Our second annual picknit will be happening at Neck Point Park, bring your knitting, a lunch and a chair and you will be set for some knitting and laughter! If you have been knitting on the Citron Shawl, bring it along as well and I will try to get a group picture or we will “yarn bomb” another tree with our shawls!
Last year the weather co-operated and there were over 20 attendee’s – Children and dogs included! If you haven’t had a chance to visit this park it is well worth the effort. If you like walking there are some nice trails around the point.
Today is the first day of our Summer/Anniversary Sale. Come on in and help us make room for the fall arrivals! We have had lots of new stuff arrive already so we have a great selection right now – and some of it on sale.
I am in the process of putting together the Class and Worshops Schedule for the fall. This year you will find the schedules on separate pages at the top the blog, just click on the tab and it will take you right there. This way when the fall is over the schedule will be removed! No more confusion about what was happening when!
Barb popped in this week. She had been knitting lots of baby sweaters and is already working on some more. I thought that this one was particualarly cute – a sweet little hoodie for a little girl.
My citron is almost into the 6th section – I am making mine a little bigger – something I may regret as the rows are getting very long! Joyce has finished hers and modeled it for me on Wednesday last week!
