Hello again, good knitters! Tell me, have you ever experienced the sheer joy and digital camaraderie that is a knitting podcast? I thought I would mention them here, since I myself am obsessed with them, and I often meet people at the shop who have never heard of them.
Knitting podcasts are like a television station that talks all knitting all the time–a thing I thought could never exist outside of my dreams until I encountered them. It is endlessly fun to sit down with a nice cuppa tea, a tasty nibble, my current knitting fixation, and my Youtube-friendly device. If you are going to try them out, possibly make sure you are alone for the first time, or consider using some headphones. Non-knitters might not understand why you are watching a random person talking about knitting while knitting yourself. They might have the nerve to suggest that you are obsessive…
Podcasts usually follow a loose pattern, the podcaster(s) will talk often about what they have been knitting lately, what projects they have finished, what yarn they have acquired (this is my favourite part, albeit dangerous by way of enabling), what is going on in their Ravelry groups, and other knitty goodness. They are an excellent source of knitting gossip, knitting trends, and general yarn ogling. Most of all, it’s really just gratifying to listen to like-minded people gush about knitting and yarn. Their subsequent Ravelry groups are always fun to poke around in too. They usually have lively KALs, giveaways, and generally good fellowship with other fans of the podcast.
Try them out sometime if you haven’t already! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

What are your favourites, if you watch them? Please tell me! I am always on the lookout for more.
