Jan 12th was an Unexpected “Snow” Day!

Margarets’ beaded, fingerless mittens. She knit them with Drops Alpaca and the Gutterman size 9 beads!

Mad About Ewe had no power until some time in the afternoon and so between that and the heavy snow fall Emily and I decided that a snow day was in order.  Today everything will be back to normal and we look forward to seeing you.

We have had a couple of exciting new arrivals in the last week.  Sylvan Spirit from Green Mountain Spinnery arrived and immediately went up on the shelves and home to Dorothy house.   She grabbed a bundle and said that it was Hers and no one else was getting any!  Check out her swatch the next time you come in.  We have also received both of the St Denis yarns, Nordique and Boreal by Canadian Designer Veronik Avery.  I have knit up a Twined baby cap in Boreal as a sample for the twining class.  This is a very soft and pretty woolen spun yarn.

Our class and workshop schedules are now posted and are ready to be viewed.  A couple of the classes are waiting for the projects to be finished before we can post the photos.  I will get them up as soon as possible!

Happy Knitting
