It felt like summer this weekend! There was sunshine, hummingbirds and knitting.
Last week at Mad About Ewe, I saw quite a few interesting projects. It is always amazing how creative we can be with our crafting. Karen poped by to show me her Helix Scarf. Karen used her own handdyed, handspun and created the Helix scarf in Tunisian Crochet! I think that it is very cool!
Shawnette is knitting the Koigu Linen Stitch Scarf by Churchmouse Yarns – with five colours of Koigu – too gorgeous!
And Fiona just finished a small shawl, Asking for Roses – available on Ravelry – knitted with Madeline Tosh Merino Light!
I have seen a few Citron Shawls starting to show up! I’ll get a link to a gallery going this week.
On friday afternoon we received a small box from Be Sweet with a cool new yarn – Bubble Ball. This yarn only comes in two colours and is very cool. I’ll be working on a pattern for it this week!
Happy Knitting
Lynette
