We have the cure for you!

A new year sweeps over us here on Vancouver Island tasting of thick fog, icy nights, and the shock of realization that January is already halfway gone! With that biting chill in the air, many of us are turning to our needles and hooks for a much needed extra layer of warmth, comfort, and a splash of cheer against the press of winter greys.

Cashmere and Linen, Yak and Silk and 100% Cashmere are all on sale!

Alas! A tragedy! If you’re anything like me, with the holidays so soon past, your usual stores of toasty wools and fibers have been sorely depleted! Hark, friends, a light in these dark and trying times, for with the new year comes Mad About Ewe’s annual January Sale!

Yarns range from 15% to 70% off, excluding most hand dyes (except Malabrigo!) and anything we’ve brought brand new to our shelves. That still means just about everything is on sale! The sale runs throughout the month of January so there’s lots of time to make it in no matter how hectic your schedule, whether to stock up or simply treat yourself to the guilty pleasure yarn your heart has been yearning after.

Our shelves are bursting with woolly possibilities for you to discover!

Fleece Artist Merino Slim in 24 gorgeous subtle colourways

With a whole host of Fleece Artist semi-solids, over 70 colours of the coveted Biscotte self-striping and semi-solid sock yarns, and every type of fibre from blue leicester to mohair, there’s sure to be something to cozy your fancy! Unfortunately our Fleece Artist and Bis-sock are NOT included in the sale, but they are delicious to the touch and well worth the investment.

Come hang out with us and find your next project! Happy January, and happy crafting!

The Sale lasts until closing Jan 31.

Bis-Sock Striping and Semi Solids are just hanging around waiting to be touched!

Noro’s New Yarn Ito – 200 grams and 40 colours in every ball!

PS – Have you met Amy? You may have seen her around the store. She has just started working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays afternoons.

Amy is an amazingly talented knitter and writer.

Amy also shares our obsession with yarn, as you can tell when reading todays blog post, which she wrote!

We hope that she will write more for us!

Happy Knitting from

Amy, Elise, Darlene, Lynette, and Emily
