Anthea’s Mirrored Caps

September 22 and it is raining – what are you knitting!

More boxes of yarns have arrived.  Some of our Kureyon and Silk Garden colours have arrived.  They are gorgeous!  We are fully stocked with lots of Classic Wool and Cascade 220 for the felters and worsted wool lovers.  New colours of the Triana Lux and Rizos have also arrived for you Frilly Scarf Knitters.  We have lots of sock yarns, in solid and hand-dyed colours and don’t forget the striping and patterning sock yarns as well!

Yesterday we got new yarns from Phildar!  For the baby cap knitters we got 5 new colours of KnitCol!  And 3 new bulky or chunky yarns for quick and soft scarves!  All 3 yarns are acrylic/wool blends, one striping – Mistero, one tweeded – Monello and with just a hint of glitter – Malizia!

Grace’s Gorgeous Cardigan

In books we have the new Ann Budd Sock Knitting Master Class and lots of pattern books from Sirdar, Katia and Adriafil.  We are waiting for our third shipment of Rowan 50.  Rowan has outdone themselves this year.  For the Crocheter’s out there – Interweave has just released their new Best of Interweave Crochet!  This is the best crochet pattern book I have ever seen.  We also have a couple of new Amigurumi books and Lace books.

The Fall Classes are starting to fill up.  One workshop, the Entrelac Mitten, has proven to be so popular that we have added another date, Saturday Oct 29th to the schedule, so if you couldn’t make the first one…give us a call and we will add you to the second one!

The Purple Bucket Campaign is still ongoing, but we are heading towards the end.  We will continue to accept caps until mid-October.  I will update with the final date in a week or so, once I talk to Click for Babies.

Front View

Grace was in earlier this week and brought in her latest finished project!  A circular lace mohair cardigan.  Emily is modeling in the picture as Grace was wearing white and all of her beautiful work just wouldn’t show.

Hope that your Fall gets off to a great start!

Fiona’s Baby Caps!

Happy Knitting
