…..To borrow a word from Jess! Shenanigans – great word.

Saturday was our belated WWKOP!  The sun was shining and the sky was clear blue overhead – a beautiful day all round.  It was hot in the courtyard, but we stayed in the shade and no one had any problems knitting.

We also had a weaver – Darlene brought her tri-loom and we watched with fascination as she warped and wove at the same time.  Darlene was working with a sparkly mohair/silk blend by Debbie Bliss, called Angel – I tried to get the sparkle to show in the pictures but no luck!

There were six knitters working on the Dorothy Slip Stitch Spiral Knit Socks.  It was fascinating to see how they all worked up, each colour combination was different from the others!

A couple of shawl projects were also started on Saturday.  Cyrena had been thinking the Unicorn Stripes Scarf/Wrap for a while – a long while – well Saturday turned out to be the day!  She bravely marched into the store and bought every single colour of the Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails to start her project (Cyrena plans on knitting some of Dorothy’s Socks – just not just yet!

I know if you weren’t there in body you certainly were in spirit.  I hope that you had a great day whatever you were up too!

Happy Knitting

Lynette
