While the blankets may have been optional they were popular as a coat today! A little cool and a little windy – it was a great time until it rained!
The pic-knit was cut a little short by the rain but a great time was had by the hardy group that showed up, knitting, lunch and Holden Shawlette’s in hand.
We took pictures of the Shawlette and discussed the next KAL. There will be an option this time – a Shawl called Beithe or some Fingerless Mittens called VITELOTTES.
Brenda intends on knitting Beithe and I am drawn to the VITELOTTES. The mittens don’t require a lot of yardage and there is this cashmere/silk in the store that I have been fondling – I’ll have to check it out!
The official start date is Aug 30th and we will run it for at least two to three months. We all might be too busy after that until after Christmas!
The Shawl requires DK weight yarn and the mittens a small amount of 4-ply so check out your stash or our sale and get ready for the next KAL!
Have you taken the time to check out our classes and workshops. The samples are all in the store if you want to see them up close and personal!
Hope that you are having a great weekend.
Lynette
