Mad About Ewe Fine Yarns
Classes and Workshops
To check for our current class
and workshop schedules look for the page tabs at the top of our blog. There
is a tab for current classes and one for current workshops.
We run both classes and workshops
in the fall and spring and also some limited workshops in the summer. We
have been known to run 2 sessions of a class or workshop is there has been
enough demand.
There are three classes and one
workshop that we run every fall and spring:
-
The Workshop is our “Fear of Finishing”
– everything you ever wanted to know to change your homemade sweater into a
handmade sweater, all the fine details of finishing your garment.
-
The Classes include, Beginner’s Knitting
and Beginner’s II, once you have taken both of the those classes you can
start to add more specific skills with specialized classes. The other class
is the basic sock class.
Other topics that we have taught
include: cables, lace, beading, felting and needle felting. Most of our
classes are project oriented. Projects have included mittens, bags, hats,
tea-cozies, scarves and shawls.
If there is something that you
would like to learn but do not see on the schedule, please contact us and
let us know what you are interested in. If you have some friends and wish
to run a class for you and your friends we can organize that too.
We also offer private lessons.
Please contact us for more information.
